Bora Bora is an island located in the Pacific Ocean. It is located approximately 4,069 kilometres (approx. 2,600 miles) from Hawaii, 6,000 kilometres (approx. 3,700 miles) from Sydney and 278 kilometres (approx. 172 miles) from Tahiti.

One of the first questions most people ask about Bora Bora is what the weather will be
like when they're there. The Society Islands are a tropical destination so humidity, rain, sunshine and heat are all to be considered. Tahiti and her islands have warm tropical
year round temperatures. There are two seasons: The Summer which is from November through March and Winter which is from April through October.
The average temperature in Summer is about 30 degrees and in the drier Winter the average temperature is about 27 degrees. Most rainfall is during the Summer months
with high humidity -although its been known to be gorgeous in the middle of January!
The best time weather-wise with the least risk of storms is in their Winter months.
The most wonderful part about the weather in Bora Bora is that the water temperature
hovers in the mid 30's in Celsius on average, meaning that you will always have a lovely time swimming in nice warm water.

Travel Details
When travelling to Bora Bora, guests will first fly to Faa'a International Airport in Papeete, Tahiti, the only international airport serving Polynesia. Once arriving at Papeete, its is only a 50 minute flight to Bora Bora via Air Tahiti. Direct flights to Papeete are available from Los Angeles, Honolulu, Tokyo, and Auckland. Airlines that serve this airport include Air Tahiti Nui, Air France, Hawaiian Airlines, and Air New Zealand.
Everyone is required to have a valid passport and outbound ticket to enter into the French Polynesia.
Twice daily from Monday to Saturday the Resort provides return boat shuttle service on a fixed schedule to Vaitape Harbour on the main island of Bora Bora. The morning shuffle is complimentary, but a fee is applied for airport transfers and the dinner time shuffle.
